This fall, the Choral Concert touched the audience’s heart with inspirational music. Under the direction of Dr. Tim Willingham, Symphonic Choir presented sacred music by J. Rutter, including “All Things Bright and Beautiful” and an arrangement of Psalm 100. Chamber Ensemble, led by Dr. Cléusia Gonçalves, began with J. M. Martin’s “The Awakening,” which ponders life without music; featured “To the New Jerusalem,” an arrangement by M. Culloton intended to honor friends and family members who have gone to see the Lord; and concluded with powerful selections focused on our heavenly home.
