Located on Eagle Field at golden hour, the PCC Symphonic Band, conducted by Mr. Thomas Molina, took the audience on a musical journey celebrating the paths taken, places dreamed about, and joy discovered along the way. Randall Standridge’s “Choose Joy” set the tone for the concert, followed by an exploration of Latin America in “El Camino Real” by Alfred Reed and the Himalayan Mountains in “Mount Everest” by Rossano Galante. The adventure continued with selections such as “The Syncopated Clock” by Leroy Anderson and “Funiculi Funicula Rhapsody” by Luigi Denza, closing with a collection from the Happiest Place on Earth in “Disneyland Celebration,” pleasantly surprising the audience with some special effects.
