Directed by Dr. Charles Bombard, the PCCymphony performed a musical interpretation of the land, lore, and people of the British Isles through spirited selections. The orchestra invited the audience to experience the rich history and grandeur of Great Britain with G. Finzi’s “Romance for String Orchestra, Op. 11” and H. MacCunn’s “The Land of the Mountain and the Flood, Op. 3” and to go on an adventure through literary classics like “Macbeth, Op. 23” by R. Strauss and “Othello, Op. 93” by A. Dvořák.
