Chamber Concert Spring 2023

Conductors and musicians collaborated to present the Spring 2023 Chamber Concert. The String Ensemble opened the evening with two movements from Gustav Holst’s playful St. Paul’s Suite, later contrasted by Gustav Mahler’s serene “Adagietto” from Symphony No. 5. The Woodwind Ensemble presented playful selections such as Mozart’s “Divertimento” followed by “Quatuor D’Anches” and “Cotswolds Pictures,” written by accomplished Japanese composers and highlighting the proficiency and diversity of woodwinds. The Brass Ensemble concluded the concert featuring Schubert’s concert piece for piano and horn quartet and Brian Sadler’s “One Final Push” for a trombone ensemble.
