Concert on the Green Fall 2024

During golden hour, Eagle Field was filled with the sound of patriotic songs. The Symphonic Band saluted the United States of America at the Concert on the Green, directed by Mr. Nick Kozar. PCC student Coda Owens narrated the program, beginning with the University of West Florida Army ROTC presenting the colors and attending the National Anthem. The audience enjoyed familiar songs like J. P. Sousa’s “George Washington Bicentennial March” and “Power and Glory” and the One Accord men’s group performance of “God Bless the U.S.A.” During Bob Lowden’s arrangement of “Armed Forces Salute,” those who served in any of the five military branches were invited to stand and be recognized for their service. “Eternal Flame” concluded the night, written to honor those awarded a Medal of Honor for going beyond the call of duty.
