Handbell Concert Fall 2023

Dr. Tim Willingham and his two choirs rang in the Christmas season during the fall Handbell Concert. Festive selections included “Winter Wonderland” arr. by G. Downey, “Ding, Dong, Merrily on High” arr. by F. Gramann, and “The Christmas Song” arr. by D. E. Wagner, as well as selections from P. Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker: “Dance of the Reed Flutes” transc. by W. Griffin and “Coffee (Arabian Dance)” arr. by K. McChesney. Additional percussion instruments accompanied several numbers, such as “Sleigh Ride” and “Parade of the Tin Soldiers” arr. by M. Thompson and the last song, V. Stephenson’s arrangement of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
