Lady Eagle’s Volleyball vs. Miles College

The Lady Eagles hosted the Miles College Golden Bears for their first NCAA D2 matchup of the 2023 season. Unfortunately, the Golden Bears’ offensive firepower proved too much for the Lady Eagles to handle.
 
After Miles College got off to an early 4-0 lead, they never looked back. The Golden Bears ended set number one on a 15-5 run, ultimately winning the first set by a score of 25-10. With a better start in set two, the Lady Eagles and Golden Bears were locked at four points each early. Although the Lady Eagles were only down 7-9, Miles College went on another set-ending run of 16-8. After a rough first two sets, the Lady Eagles started the set being down 5-9. Unfortunately, Miles College again won a dominating third set with a final score of 25-11.
