Lady Eagle’s Volleyball vs. Toccoa Falls Collage

The Lady Eagles swept Toccoa Falls College 3-0 for only the second time in their 21 matches. With only nine wins the season, the Lady Eagles entered the match wanting to reach double-digit wins. Recording 43 kills, the Lady Eagles dominated the net and the match!
 
With the first set going back and forth early, the Lady Eagles put together a 15-10 run to end set number one and win the set 25-18. When the teams entered set two, the teams went back and forth the entire set pushing to extra points! Although TFC reached 25 points first, the teams continued to battle, and the Lady Eagles took the second set by a final score of 29-27! After winning the comeback second set, the Lady Eagles dominated the beginning of the third set going up 24-16. Although the Screaming Eagles put together a 5-0 run, senior Haley Butcher got the match-ending kill from her fellow senior Kenzie Folker! Senior leadership was evident on the scoreboard during tonight’s match, senior Allie McGuirt led the team with 9 kills and 2 blocks while seniors Kenzie Folker and Haley Butcher each totaled 16 assists which led the Lady Eagles to their ultimate 3-0 victory over the TFC Screaming Eagles.
