Directed by Mr. Nick Kozar, the Symphonic Band Concert opened with the Wind Ensemble performing P. Grainger’s lively “Gum-Suckers March” and P. Hindemith’s march from Symphonic Metamorphosis. The audience enjoyed harmonious renditions of K. Puts’s “Charm,” T. R. George’s First Suite in F Major, and G. Frescobaldi’s “Toccata.” The evening concluded with V. Giannini’s Symphony No. 3 and C. Smith’s arrangement of “God of Our Fathers.”
