The Choral Concert highlighted two vocal groups. Directed by Dr. Tim Willingham, the Symphonic Choir performed a blend of energetic and worshipful songs. The selection included J. Rutter’s “Banquet Fugue,” P. D. Q. Bach’s “My Bonnie Lass She Smelleth,” and A. Parker’s “Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal.” Then, led by Dr. Cleusia Gonçalves, the Chamber Ensemble took the audience on a musical journey. Beginning with E. Ešenvalds’s “Salutation” and C. Monteverdi’s “Flowers,” the adventure continued with the tale of “Loch Lomond” arranged by J. Quick, D. Elder’s “Ballade to the Moon,” and finally, E. Whitacre’s “Sing Gently.”
